Ok, just a quick idea for everyone...
Do you like movies? (of course, this is a retorical question)
Do you like videogames, books, comics? (yep, another one...)
Do you know how (often) movies taken from videogames/comics/books sucks, right?
And I KNOW that all of you hate Uwe Boll...
Now (and this is the idea), what do you think about making some cool trailers inspired by our favourite stuff?
A trailer is shorter than a short movie, usually more intriguing than the movie itself, and since the max lenght of a trailer should be 2 minutes, we should be able to make one!
It could be also helpful for all of us to learn something new (like compositing, editing, shooting and directing).
Now, I'm still trying to find the money for a GOOD camera...
So I can help with: ideas, script (even if my English is so fracking poor), storyboard (I've done that professionally), concept art (I've done that too), matte painting, textures (I'm actually doing that), direction (Yes, I've directed a couple of indie documentaries and some shorts -not released-), etc...
But ATM I can't: edit, compose, filming (without a camera is quite hard...) and hosting, for this reason I was talking of
US...
I was thinking about a couple of things, but my only "rule" is. "Noone could touch
MY METAL GEAR!"...
But I'm not kidding...
What do you think?
Ideas? Suggestions?
Let me know!
My first ideas are: a trailer for "God of War - the movie" (called only "God of War"), a trailer for "Witchblade" and a trailer for "The Lost World" (the Arthur Conan Doyle novel...)
Let me hear your thoughts
P.S.
Of course I was thinking at LIVE ACTION movies (with real actors)...
Just to be clear
