| Thank the U.S. government for all these DST problems. It may get worse for some people come this Sunday. That's when DST is supposed to actually kick in. It got moved up three weeks with the thinking that workers here in the U.S. could be more productive. Problem is, there are a lot of computerized equipment that can't be upgraded with the new DST dates. Like at work, I've got at least a half-dozen time-clocks that are hard-wired to only recognize the original dates for DST time changes. Until we ever replace those time-clocks, I'll have to now manually adjust those clocks four times a year to keep them on the right time! |
