| yup, that's exactly what i plan for. That model for the "Quartermaster" lab was 60,000 polygons by itself, which is the same for most of them (there are no props inside any of the rooms except for that table), so i think modelling and detail, i have a decent grasp of.
When this project is finished, i'm intending to learn and practice texturing properly, from Photoshop to learning how to apply proceedurals and gradients to better effect.
What's really letting them down is the lack of detail texturewise (most of the textures are proceedurals, some are lw presets). I've got a handle on lighting, i just need to tweak that a bit though and actually figure out my lighting setup before i build the rooms, next time, lol. |
