With an additional second of lag for every half light second of distance added ("half" since the signal has to travel both to and from Earth). A half light second is about 150,000 kilometers, or about half the distance between the Earth and the Moon.
I was thinking more in terms of those games restricted to players actually living inside the ship.
If you have such games linked to players in other ships or planets, you are just making it easier for fiendish space hackers to infiltrate the ship's master computer. Very bad, especially if the ship is a military vessel and the hacker belongs to the enemy.
