The last is clearly stated in the past is not the J at all and eluded to in the SOTL book as to not even being part of that era but a TNG era experimental design.

That image above is the same image used in the show. Its mirriored and back lit. Why I said you should refrence to it is higher rez opticaly and the lack of distortion placed on it due to it being displayed on a flat plane and the unknown of camera lens, will lend distortion to it.
