The whole cockpit can be raised, so the pilot's head would be ebough that elevation, for observation purpose, or lowered (as shown) for high speed cruise mode.
On mass produced models, cockpit capsule will be completely nontransparent armored module, and pilot will use VR environment cockpit.
Well, when I finish the whole thing, should ask someone to build 3D model, since I am no good at this
