| Well, I see a couple of possibilities. The ready room could be moved to a different side of the bridge, say the port side aft, which is actually where I thought it was supposed to be. It could also be lowered a bit below the deckline and we'll just say there's emergency battery compartment or something underneath it. It also occurs to me that this probably would have been a problem even if I had stuck with the Sovereign class module as it has much the same slope on the front.
In short, I don't redesigning the entire bridge module is necessary. There's obviously plenty of room in there and it may just be a matter of rearranging the compartments a little differently. |
