Hi! I'm Chadin and as "Newcmd001" implies I am a newbie when it comes to 3D. This is despite 5 years experience in 3ds max as I hardly had time to get my modeling beyond what was taught in class, and also because I usually deal with 2D design - Photoshop and the likes. When I fire up 3ds max I tend to end up fiddling around with camera and lighting instead of modeling.

I was a member of Scifi-Meshes before the Great Crash, reading the forum on and off, but after the incident, I unfortunately lost touch. With much school activities aside and graduation over the horizon, I'm glad to have time to do 3D again and even more glad to be back here and see the community still going strong. Figured I'd jump into the fray and drop a proper introduction, so here goes.

I'm a pretty big Star Trek fan (depends on what you define by big actually, big is a relative term) and glad to be sharing with people with same passion: you Trekkies and sci-fi'ers here, and hope to be able to contribute too as I pick up more knowledge. See you guys around!
