Labor Day 2007
our Labor Day family picnic was at Sampson State Park on Seneca Lake in New York State
we gather there every year, and it has some sentimental value because my Grandfather's grandparents - my great great grandparents I think - owned the land and lived there on their farm before the government displaced them to build the military base.
The little statue guy, and the pink flower are at my house. The picnic table is at Sampson State Park
A macro shot looking up the trunk of a tree. A water fountain, and a really cool eagle sculpture at the military museum at Sampson Park
Little statue guy again, a really big gun from a navy boat I guess
, and some more of that eagle statue.
these were all taken with my dad's old film camera
I don't like the quality of the digital scans the camera place did, so chances are good that I won't be using the film camera much anymore

| It's easy to see in these tired eyes, that blood has no value in modern life.
| All time is held in stars, and it tears me apart.
