Negatory on the blue engine grids, too reminiscent of the TNG era. Although, if you look really close, there is a faint blue/violet tint at the ends of the glow panels.
Same goes for the deflector glow idea: too TNG. I won't rule out the idea of putting some kind of glowy bits back inside those concentric rings or something like that, but it's really not a look I'm fond of for TOS ships especially.
