Well not that I can really offer any assistance, but I just wanted to let you know that I know where you're coming from. I'm running a similar project, although mine is an original universe series, and as the main guy in charge, whatever the team can't handle falls on my shoulder. It doesn't help either that convincing people to volunteer their time for no compensation is a very tough sale. And sometimes you just can't count on help from anyone and have to do it yourself.
Which is why I took on the motto; there's no such thing as luck. You make things happen. Not that, that should discourage you, or be taken to imply that I'm suggesting you not ask for help. I've got my own thread here requesting volunteers.
