| chrisweuve is quite right. There should definately be two different command centers for the ship's senior officers. I think part of the problem is that Trek has always sent it's flag officers off as individuals. Only in DS9 were there ever even chief of staffs. But flag officers do have seperate staffs that would not just be incorporated onto someone else's bridge. I'd suggest just making a new flag bridge that looks less like a standard bridge, and more like an observation room. The admiral's staff isn't actually firing the weapons or flying the ship, they're analyzing, plotting, and giving fleet orders. |
