I know, it really is a shame. High contrast images are the best. I recently did an art project for class that was a 3 dimensional framed work of a white soldier over a black background of Iraq. It is what started my new found obsession. Adding color ruins the effect.

With the need for clarity in interfaces you'd think this style would make a resurgence as simple and clear icons. The picture is nice I like what you've depicted and what you've simplified, do some more!

Do it well or not at all.

The smaller preview version looks better than the actual version imo because the details are squashed together. When viewing the large image the lines are too 'smooth' and there isn't enough information to translate that much real estate into something more aestheticly pleasing. It doesn't mean I dont recognise it when viewing the large one, I do, but I am saying that if there was a bit more detail, especially in the torso area where it gets a bit 'mooshy', I think it would be beneficial. Good work
