i really love the force of expression in your painting...even they are a bit brutal sometimes

guess which band i have started to listen to before i got to this thread

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.(Revelation 6:8)

Whoo... If I am translating correctly in my mind, that is a hell of a lot of emotion writ to paper... I dunno what else to say.

Aside from: wow... just wow...

What.

excellent paintings.. if your not in art school...to do this professionally.. you should be.

the school I'm in does both 2d and 3d training to make a more rounded artist with work in Maya character work.. if that sounds interesting to you that is

Wherever you go.. there you are:p

-pale rider: wanna share these thought? would be interesting

-val: i'm on one of the best german art schools... none of those schools where you are trained to work in the industry as a designer, illustrator or whatever, but where you're trained to develop your own artistic style, to create meaningful artworks, whatever comes to your mind... the stuff which you can see in art gallerys... we also have photoshop courses, 3d stuff and so on, but it's all voluntary, you can do it, if you think it might help you develop your style...

of course this makes it really hard to get a job if you don't succeed in becoming a famous artist, but that's something we all knew from the beginning...

This one is by far the best in my opinion. It has a contrast on many different levels with color, palette, and emotion. This, to me, is the most complex painting you've done so far. It's contextual ambiguity suggests your feelings when you made it but allows others to form their own emotional feeling as well- you're not forcing an opinion down the viewer's throat which is cool because it allows the viewer to form their own conclusions.
I think skill wise, it's executed well. The pine trees, I think, could be pushed a little further as they still appear a little loose but all-in-all I dig it, psycho.

2d art is treated as a bastard child in 3D forums.
There are cultures on this planet that are just plain not ready for advanced technologies like explosives and automatic guns
