Lotsa paintjobs (or an homage to B.J. and coolusername)

As the title says, the inspiration for this one comes from B.J.'s vipers and coolusername's macross posts. The patches are taken from various websites but all the tail art is hand done by yours truly.

Had fun doing this one! it's a big file so 56k'ers beware.

Cheers,

Zach

*eep!* Don't know that I deserve an homage, but thanks! And nicely done, too! I noticed that you have slightly different weathering on some of them as well.

(I've really got to get out of my post-holiday slump!)

What are the two pieces of miscellaneous equipment on the bottom of the engines of some of the craft?

With the weathering I did 2 different layers of weathering and just dialed up and down the transparencies to make each craft look sort of different. And yes, I think I speak for the whole community in saying it is time to get out of your slump and get back to work!

Missiles! If ya squint hard enough you can see I added pylons under the gun pods. Here is an uncolored plan view, so you can see where they would go (under and slightly inside the gatlings)

Wow..very nice indeed. Homage to me ? Thanks! :P

The FT-27 reminds me of the F-100 Supersabre because of the long nose and NMF colors. Would love to see some in camo ^^

I like the top view. You should make a ground attack fighter, like the A-10. I also like the missiles, there is no reason a space missile needs to be aerodynamic.
