Keep in mind that the plans for the JSF 35 is planned to replace almost all aircraft in the allied nations. There is a Navy version that the MArine Corps and US Navy will recive. it will be installed with a tail hook for recovery at sea as with standard naval aircraft. The Marines will make more use of the VTOL version since its amphibous forces deploy from different carrier types designed for Hellicopters and Harrier jets.

the most awesome and best carrier design that i have seen was the UEF atlantis class submarine from supreme commander.
