Retro Trek Comic Page TrekBBScomicpanel-MUDD1-retrokirby.jpg Over at TrekBBS, there's a game/project going on in the Art Forum ... several members are creating a comic strip/book; each member providing a frame/page/whatever to continue the uncertain and ongoing story ... meaning, there's no script, we're writing it as we go. I was forth in line, and submitted this retro/kirbyesque treatment of our classic heroes, and thought I'd stick it here for s/g's. ![]() JM.

Nice work! I especially like the different font for Spock, good touch. My only nitpick is the flow of dialog is a tad confusing in the top panels. Again, Really good stuff! BTW, I loved your work for SFC when I played it back in the day.

Hey, thanks! I still tinker with SFC models, but I figured you knew that having been to Planet Mudd before. The top panel flow is technically a bit confusing, but considering I wanted to show simultaneous events, I worried less about strict juxtaposition and just played with overall layout. Thanks again; ![]() JM.

Duuuuuuude, cool! Not only is the art great, I love how Spock speaks in perfect type and full punctuation, while everyone else uses comic book type and convention. Also, the dialog is spot on. The only thing that throws me is Ohura being lens blurred, which strikes me as out of character for the style.
