| Member | Can't wait to get some of the images back up. Your uniforms were what inspired me to do some for my ship. Keep it up. |

JoeRalat: Forgot to answer this the last time round - I am hoping that somebody will eventually take my bridge schematics and model the bridge in 3D, but if nobody does that, I'll try to do an isometric view of it. BlueRaa: It's good that you mentioned the uniforms, because that reminds me of an image that I don't believe I've ever posted. It's the standard doctor's uniform, I think I showed the others but not this one. It's not my own design, obviously, though I admit I've been thinking about doing some uniform variations - the dress uniform for outdoors is just the start ... |

The SNARES cannon image was the last one I posted before the crash, I believe, so most of you should be familiar with it. In case you aren't, however, I'll repeat what the acronym stands for: Super Narrow Angle Reconnaissance Emission Sensor. I didn't come up with it, it was Rick Sternbach himself over at the TrekBBS many months ago, and he made a convincing argument that scientists and engineers like to use acronym names for their projects that actually mean something. I quite like what he came up with, I have to say. Lastly, there's the ASV (Auxiliary Survey Vehicle) that fits inside the bow hangar of the Constellation class ships (not to be confused with the SRV, the Stealth Reconnaissance Vehicle - the other ship I'll be putting in the hangar). This is a rather old picture, done before I became better at doing gradients and shading, so I may end up recolouring it. Also, I still have to do the top and front views (at the very least). |
