| SFM Nugget | These designs are awesome. I really can't wait to see your finished Pegasus, especially since Peg happens to be one of my favorite scifi ships of all time. |

Still needs A LOT of detail, but I think I may have finally nailed down the general shapes. Now if you will excuse me, I need Tylenol and a nap! ![]() |

| SFM Guru | the only flaw I see is the spacing between the two landing bays. Doesn't look big enough to fit batteries of main guns and launch tubes. I would suggest moving the bottom bay down slightly and forward, so there is not so much overhang. Take a look at this shot from "The Captain's Hand" http://media.battlestarwiki.org/imag...pod_turret.jpg Note how the gun batteries do not have have a lot of clearance between the end of the barrel and the 'lip' of the lower landing bay. Also note the relationship between the angle of the upper flight pod entrance and the edge of the lower flight pod. Also take note of this other shot. Note how the main guns (8 total on each side, mounted in four pairs) fill only about a third to a half of the space between the upper and lower portions of the "head". Assuming these guns are the same size as the main batteries on Galactica, the Pegasus is one huge motherf***er. http://media.battlestarwiki.org/imag..._Hi-Res_3a.jpg ![]() |
