OK...more organic and rounded...got it.

Next question...location of the impulse or sub-light drive. In the second pic, is that it behind that torpedo launcher or is that it in the after portion of the center hull.

Final question: that is a forward shuttle bay in the nose, right r is that a sensor array? I see the deflector in hte aft portion (rather unique positioning, but it would work).

Shall I experiment with the deflector dish/hanger location or leave as is. Your call here.

BTW...Merry Christmas.

Ooops...I see what you have planned with the front and the deflector. Disregard that last question

POWELL-class Scout, ver 1.5

OK Borgman--

I took a little artistic license with the hull details and I hope I got the scale right...I believe you said scout, so I placed her on roughly the same scale as a DEFIANT-class. I also accented a few things I saw between the developmentals you drew out: the cut between the main hull and the nacelle sweeps, hull detailing for the ablative armor, stuff like that. I also added a little more detail to the foward sensor array and added lifepods...I used the hexagonal style from the DEFIANT as well. detailing to the deflector housing.

I hope I didn't overstep here on some of the details.

Enjoy!

Here's the detailed POWELL-class Scout, dorsal aspect, ver 1.5.

Well...these little additions were to flesh out the pics Borgman posted. The design is his and if wants to keep them (the additions and interpretation), he can. If he would rather have something closer to his original sketches...well I can do that to. I'm flexible either way.

Great job! The only thing I can add is that it looks a bit chubby; try to stretch it a bit, and again the nacelles need to be more curved inwards.

The main impulse is, indeed, behind the quantum torpedo launcher, just so you know. For size reference take a Nova class; you can see it in my second sketch to the right of the image. But for the rest... impressive job! I like it

OK...I'll stretch her out a bit, take some out of the girth, and curve the nacelle sweeps inboard more. I was close on the scaling, but I see that NOVA dorsal on that second pic.

POWELL ver 1.7

OK...ver 1.7...though I don't think I got the sweeps curved in enough and she still looks to fat...I dunno

You want them MOYIA curved (Farscape)?

Hmm, I was actually guessing something along the following lines. Although your panelling was quite effective ASR, so I hope you don't mind I used it

I know I made a few errors though (I excluded the airlock, the nacelles are a bit on the big side, I forgot the escape pods) but that will change once the concept gets finalised
