I think they were both going to be expensive - the real reason is probably more to do with politics and backroom deals - military contracts are not always awarded to the best design - there are often vested interests too, us outsiders will never be sure.

Great work on these planes, although some of them feel a little elongated, apart from the F20, which actually looks a little too fat.

B4000, Nice work on your latest Stealth Pics they all look awesome I especially like the USS United States Stealth Carrier.

I would love to see you post designs of the F-22 Raptor and may be some variants of the Raptor. I would like to see a Canard/Delta Wing Raptor concept, Delta Wing Raptor concept, the Proposed/Cancelled Swing-Wing F-22 Naval Raptor and the Proposed/Cancelled FB-22 Raptor Medium Range Fighter/Bomber.
