Sorry you didn’t make the deadline Aethernaut, shame really because the work you’ve got thus far looks fantastic. It’s an interesting approach to have the Situation Room at the front of the bridge, and I really like the addition of the “radar” readout on the Helm/Navigation station.

Thanks! I like you're approach to the Daedalus bridge as well, seanr! Being a late-ENT era ship with TOS 100 years down the road I oriented the stations like the NX bridge since the Daedalus is closer time wise (2160s) to NX than the Constitution class. So, sans engineering, they're all in the same place as the NX. I decided to make library computer station separate as I figured the comm officer would be using it just as much for research as the science officer and some missions (sociology, archeology, first contact, etc., etc.) may even require it to be manned with a researcher or specialist. I also wanted to emphasize that, though ships that came before certainly had a library computer, it's a fairly important major addition to the bridge in this era. Whereas by TOS the primary library console has been integrated solely into the science station. In reality, of course, the Trek bridge is just the main stage and that station provides a place to sit for every interesting expert crewman of the week.

This is some marvellous work! Too bad you didn't get to finish it before the deadline - I'm sure you'd have won. Can't wait to see what's next for the Zephyr.

Update! Hey guys, thanks for all the comments. The friendly competition over at SCN is over and I didn't manage to finish this as I've said before but I've kept working on it a bit at a time anyway. Here's where the drawings are at right now: Bridge plan (finished) and dedication plaque (also finished) that was a quicky I did for the isometric drawing: ![]() Here's the bridge iso and exterior orthographic drawings based on B&W drawing so far. I started coloring the orthos after the comp. was over: ![]() As always, enjoy!

That looks amazing, no longer is the Daedalus a ball stuck on a tube with a pair of nacelles attatched...

Fan-bleedin-tastic mate! Your Daedalus and Zephyr are both top shelf designs. I check for updates of either whenever I'm on line, and they're always worth the wait. Your work is what Archer's ride should have looked like.
