Hey all, I have looking around the web for some good sites and I have come across some but this is by far the best. Anyways, I have noticed that they're aren't too many Atlantis sims out there for Flash so I have started doing my own in Flash MX version 6. I have been working on it for some time and it is turning out great. The sim will be in HD(picture quality) and will give the player the chance to control the pegasus gate as featured in the show. I really don't own any Stargate: Atlantis seasons on DVD because they are too expensive but I am working on purchasing them so that I may use them to dial different planets. Enjoy these shots!! Atlantis gate idle ![]() Atlantis gate Dialing ![]() Atlantis Gate startup ![]() Atlantis gate shutdown ![]() Btw, if you know any planet combinations then it will be helpful towards developing this sim. To present some address just type up each glyph as Glyph1(for the first) and Glyph36(for the last) as appearing on the Atlantis DHD. That way I know which glyphs are used for that planet since most of them don't have names. Anyways enjoy and your suggestions will help out alot. Daxter

I must applaud you!! You are great. When you are done, that will be the best sim for Atlantis yet!!! I have a suggestion, add a puddle jumper thing. In other regular sims, there is a malp thing, instead you can a puddle jumper thing!

Somehow I knew that people would like the real kind. I have infact been using this same method to make an SG-1 sim as well. Since there haven't been any lately it could be a good chance to make one that would incorporate all the latest address and stuff as presented in Seasons 9 and 10 when Robert C. Cooper introduced The Ori. The above images as well are just a few days old because such as the kawoosh and event horizon(not shown) had to be revamped because they don't suit the Atlantis gate's kawoosh(you see these images were taken in PowerDVD from the final episode of SG-1 "Unending"). I have been snooping around and of course this great site has provided some very interesting things to use(especially event horizon vids). Anyways thanks for your support and I do have an earlier version of this sim already available(in Low Definition) to download in the Downloads area of my site Of Gods and Mortals: Downloads. It's a fairly old version that don't have any of the glyphs from Atlantis but rather milky way glyphs, and most of the planets are based off SG-1 like Abydos and P4C-231. EDIT: As this sim stands when its full version is released the minimum requirements to play it at optimal would require a PC with an Intel Core 2 Duo. EDITEDIT: There is also an existing download for the Stargate Dialing Sim that I created long ago before I began the new project type using an SG-1 screen capture of the Milky way gate inside the base.

Stargate Dialing Sim Since this is my thread, I thought I'd report about the sim. At the moment I have been testing out a new kawoosh I added to this sim and instead of posting images I thought I show people it by letting them download it. It's a basic test, just click the start wormhole button that appears on startup and just rate it and tell me or suggest any improvements I can use to make it better. Personally though I think it looks absolutely fantastic, simply because it's sourced from the SG-1 series and blends in because it's the kawoosh and event horizon that emits from the gate. Download: http://daxtersforums.freeweb7.com/fi...rmholeTest.rar Oh and an update to the Atlantis Sim. Not much has happened, there have a few things added: - Loading screen - A new logo(official logo of Stargate: Atlantis Sim) - Some more planets - A better looking kawoosh and event horizon(similar to the one in the SG1 sim) And some other stuff. EDIT: I have upgraded to Flash 8, so to play this sim you need to have Flash Player 8 or higher installed.

Sames as before as well except pressing the Start wormhole button again when wormhole is open, it will begin the shutdown sequence. Download: http://daxtersforums.freeweb7.com/fi...mholeTest2.rar | |

Stargate: Atlantis Sim Update Hey all. There are a number of new things that have been added to the Stargate: Atlantis Sim. They include: - Auto Dialer - After viewing the glyphs for the planet you can take the easy option of allowing the program to dial the address for you. - SGA Team Sending - You can send a SGA team off-world for as long as you want by setting a time. - More planets to dial out to Coming Soon: - Puddle jumpers and orbital gates - MALP - Interchangeable Dialing sims - This will allow you to dial Earth, go through the wormhole and use the Stargate Dialing Sim, as well vice versa by re-dialing Atlantis. - Atlantis Shield - Offworld-Activations
