Thanks mate...I totally get where you are coming from, but I'd like to think that I will always homage Trek in some form or another...as it has influenced me so much as did/do other things, so my stuff has a tendancy to be unorthodox in its approach...I like doing traditional Trek, but its always fun to experiment with other things not so traditional(I am an avid believer that we as a people have been influenced by the concept of a saucer or ring-like structure that it is bound to pop up from time to time...so I like to always remember our "flying-saucer" or "little-green-men" routes as well as our flair for unconventionalism that has influenced us in our pioneering endeavors of flight. Add to that the aspect of all the shapes and variety that exists on this world alone through-out its 4 billion year old history, and we have more than an ample supply of fresh ideas that have and will allude to other things).
Hope that makes some sense...

Aresius: Sure I could go that route if need be

Well any type you want to do something outside of Trek Justin over at the Zaon forums would like to see some of your work.

I like it a lot without any detail. It would make a really cool TOS, super advanced, alien ship with the right glowy effects.

That is a really interesting shape, I like the concept sketches as well. I love seeing how people come up with their ideas. I wish I could see more sketch book dumps here on SFM.
