Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0  | Sketchbook Dump I I just mentioned in another post that I would love to see some more sketch book dumps and have realized that I rarely post my sketches because I don't think any of them are worth pursuing but you never know till you put them out there, So in this thread I plan on putting some of my sketchbook work out in the open for everyones comments. Please let me know what you see that you like or that you don't like so I can maybe start thinking different ways of coming up with some of these ship designs. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | I have been trying to get away from such a blunt end lately, it's true though that my designs look more like shoe boxes with out much change in the overall shape. Thank you for the observation, I'll work on that. Just FYI, It's been awhile, say like 10-15 years since I've dusted off my pencil and done drawings for fun lately so I have a lot of bad ideas to flush out of my system. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Not bad at all since you said its been a while since you last picked up a pencil  If I might make a suggestion... use shadows and use hatching (don't know if this is the correct word to use). It gives the sketches a better dept and perspective then keeping it uncolored. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Flanker Thanks for the comments I agree that these would look a lot better and more rendered with shadows, and hatching but I was mainly just getting ideas out on paper right now. My focus in my art at the moment is just getting my ideas on paper before I move on to other ideas, and then maybe when I get the hang of 3DS I might start to render them more fully so I can see where I want to go with the model. |
