The inspiration was an old model I had of the Enterprise C that was half-built and missing her engines 'cuz they were lost during a move. I also had the engines of an Enterprise E layin' around, and just like Reese's peanut butter cups, I put 'em together. I used to think that Sternbach's C was a clunky graceless design, but paired with long engine nacelles, it's actually a very graceful & lovely hull. So this is my take on the Ambassador class, had I been the production designer. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Have you used parts from a couple of different drawings in there as there seems to be a big difference in quality between the different parts? The bridge in particular looks like it's from another sketch. If you have and it's not your drawing you should credit the original artist. If it is yours then I'm assuming you are going to tidy up the rest of the ship to the same quality level once the design is finalized? |
