If you can figure out an interesting way to attach the neck to the sphere, go wild  -- I haven't really figured a satisfactory way of joining the two yet.Did a more detailed sketch of the deflector/sensor module:  I'm learning the basics of Adobe Illustrator,and hopefully I'll have a more schematic-y pic of my Daedalus soon. Of course, now that I've said that, it's gonna take me 5 weeks to learn the basics, and there will be much banging of head on table. You know how it is.  |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | It's really interesting and I like the design A LOT! Particularly that secondary hull. Talk about flying in the face of canon, especially for a post-ENT starship! I don't think it's really suited to Trek though. I like the Matt Jefferies design philosophy for TOS a of mostly smooth outer hull with all the maintenance done in crawl ways within the ship. For me, your design definitely works as a pathfinder study of the Daedalus or an alternate Trek timeline where FTL travel was developed much earlier. You can disregard my 2 cents now.  |

Anyway, keep up the good job ! I can't wait to see more of the 3D model. |
