| carlg: Simply fantastic! This is a great design and the details in your drawings are superb. Soran77: Can you get the details of carlg's sphere made in SketchUp? I've had a hard time putting any details like panels and such on a sphere in SketchUp. BTW, I really like what you have done so far with carlg's ship. |

| Thanks, guys *blushes* cavebear: Just so you know, the panel lines on the sphere are indents, rather than ridges. Other than that, I can't really help you cause I know zilch about SketchUp. *helpless shrug* |

| top view WIP Here's what I have for a top view so far.  Unfortunately, the top and side views don't align perfectly, but it gives enough of the general idea so that any corrections can be made on-the-fly while modeling. God, I can't wait to start modeling this. I think I'm in love The crux of it will probably be the pylons -- I still have to figure out what angle they'll be at to give enough space for the engineering corridors. Oh, well... |
