great bridge design. you're thinking well through all possible operations needed on a starfleet vessel bridge, and especially on a akira-class vessel. can't wait to see the bridge in 3d.

Don't know if this will ever go into 3d as I am not that talented. If someone wants a crack at it though go ahead.

Ok since some people said that briefing room and ready room looked crowded I added to them some. Here is the floor layout. I will add all the furniture later and post it.

I also added the description and the last four designs to the first post. Just so you could see the evolution of the design.

Well as promised here is the bridge with everything positioned. I think this is pretty finished but Comments are welcome.

looks nice.

The CONN-station looks strange.

I somehow have the feeling that the person there will not likely be able to reach the buttons at the very end. Bow the wings more toward the seat..

You know I never pictured controls on the wings. I only imagined them in the middle. Now that you mentioned it though I may do it.

What program did you do this in? It looks really good and I'd like to design a bridge layout for a starship that traq and myself are working on.

Looking good!

Trooper I did this in paint, and Paint.net. It was initially done in paint while sitting at work. Then I brought it home and put it into paint.net and stripped it into layers so I could toggle stuff on and off and work with things.

Ok, cool.

I actually just started one in MS Paint. So far I've only got the basic shape done but I hope to have alot more done by tomorrow.

Thanks.
