Jupiter Class Battlestar

Hi SFM,

I just started this in MSPaint. It's my first attempt at anything like this.

It's the Jupiter Class Battlestar, or maybe the Jupiter Class Warstar. I haven't decided which yet.

Anyway, I just started. I've done the basic outline and shape and I'm pretty happy with it. I've given it some very basic colours so it's easier to see.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks!

An interesting start, yet it's abit on the small side, depending on what scale you use. Suggest you use a darker palette for the hull colour and embiggen everything.

I did this for someone in the past, hope you find it useful

Thanks.

I'm trying to go with a bit of a mix between TOS and TNS, incorporating design elements from both series. I'm using the name "Jupiter Class" in keeping with the "Mercury Class" of the Pegasus but I may change it later. I'm not sure whether it should be a Battlestar or a Warstar, I'm still working out dimensions etc.

As I said, I just used those colours to fill it in, they'll be changed down the track. I definitely want to make it bigger but how do I do that in MSPaint?

Any suggestions or advice would be great.

Just a bit of an update. Changed the bow to fit in with the standard battlestar designs (bluntness) and changed the shape of the flight pods.

Thanks.

Well, I've only just started to work my way through blender so I doubt I will at any time in the near future but if someone thinks it'd be worth it, they could certainly do so.

Another update.

I've added panel lines and such. I've also removed the colouring.

Tell me what you think!

Well, change of plans. I've decided to redo the design, I just wasn't happy with the overall shape.

I'll post the revised design soon.

Thanks.

Here is the new and improved Jupiter Class Battlestar/Warstar.

I think I've made it bigger than the last one and I hope the colours are a bit better.

She's still not finished but I'm much more happy with her.

What do you think?

I say it's still abit on the small side. You'd want the flight pods a little bigger to accomodate more Vipers.

Try scaling that to Canis's Galactica to get a good idea on scale
