Yeah, I must say, I was unsure how well these two universes could be combined when I first imagined this ship, but it has actually gotten pretty easy over the last few months. Its still difficult to nail down specifics sometimes, but overall, its becoming easier to figure out what to use from each style.

Toragh, I would love to see this in 3D. To be honest, I've actually spent a few nights imagining this thing in action. Just think about how the Battle of Wolf 359 might have turned out if even one Battlestar-Class Starship had been there. Might be kinda cool to see. As for me modeling it, maybe one day. But for now, I wouldn't even think of attempting it. I just don't have the skills. But anyone is welcome to try.

I'm currently working on the MSD and the reworked bottom view. The next really big challenge will be reworking the fore and aft views. By the way, does anyone have any custom photoshop shapes from any LCARS projects that I might be able to use? I have a bunch, but its starting to get pretty daunting working on the MSD. If anyone has any suggestions on streamlining or speeding up the process, I'd appreciate them.

I'll try to get another update up tonight. I'm listening to the Superman Returns score right now, and I feel like working. (Awesome score by the way. Pick up if you can!) I just finished a little Supes wallpaper for my desktop, and I feel like I'm on a roll. See ya soon.

As promised, I have a small update. Some more tweaking of proportions and minor adjustments to positions. The flight pods are now thinner and a little shorter. The pylons are final (at least for now). Those will be further detailed later. I also started reworking the bottom view, but I'm tired, and I'm going to fall asleep listening to this great soundtrack. Good night guys.

The thinner pods are good, it makes the ship look sleeker, even though it's supposed to be huge.

Here is the start of the new, larger LCARS display. I've also included another update on the ship itself. More work on the bottom view has been done, and I'm almost ready to start redesigning the fore and aft views. I ran out of time to work today, so this is it for the next day or two. More to come.
