Yvon, I love pancakes! I can't wait to see this in 3D myself. This summer, after school is over, I'm going to really sit down and teach myself how to model. I will of course be trying to learn from the Guru's on this site, which is everyone right now.

I'd love to see this in a mod for Bridge Commander or something.

EG, right now, the closest I can get to any kind of real world object is a potato. How's that for honesty? One of my blobs even looks like Jabba the Hutt if you squint hard enough.

i love the warp engines. they have the galactica's lines with the federation's clean design.

More hybrid goodness comin at you. Here's a rough start on the trek-style Raptor to go with the Galactica. it's not finished yet, And I'm still trying to figure out what the wings should look like, since most trek ships don't have them. I'm thinking of incorporating micro torpedo launchers into them, but we'll see. Crits are welcomed, as usual. The Viper is still on paper, so to speak. Give me a few more weeks on that. More to come.

EDIT: I was typing this update while you posted, Willie. Glad I can see the future.

For the wings, you could look at the Valkyrie fighter. It's form Star Trek Invasion for playstaion. The wings look like they could be modified for the raptor. (hope you don't mind me posting pics here...just reference)
I found the first two around google, and the last one at Wolf's Shipyard (great place)
