I gotta agree with Toragh1 the wing design on the valkrie would definitly help to bridge the ST/BSG design gap...either way Jonny Boy im sure you'll make it look really good.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Toragh1, you just read my mind. I new there was another fighter to reference from on of the video games, but I wasn't too familiar with Star Trek: Invasion, since I didn't play it when it came out. My Playstation was broken when it was released. Thanks for the reference pics. Now I ahve something "canon" to go off of. That Grypho fighter is definitely familiar. I must have seen it here before the crash.

uniderth, I though about putting the warp engines on or where the wings would be, but I immediately had to decide what would go where the engines are now, since the Raptor has the engines there. Plus, it mirrors the look of my Galactica, which is a repeated theme in some way, shape, or form with the shuttlecraft designed for the shows.

Tovette, I know what you mean. I was a little nervous about first posting this on the forums, becuase I wasn't completely sold with it either. You should see the first rough draft I posted.

There not the complete shabang, but Its a start. I'll repost those later today, along with the MSD and the turret design.

Actually, this is kinda funny cuz recently I was playing with a thought of one of those "what if" story scenerios. I was wandering what would happen if a star trek ship got transported the parallel universe of Galactica (the new one) while they were fighting the Cylons. Wasn't sure if I was going to go ahead and try it out, but this got me really inspired to do it. Thanks Jonny Boy!

Glad I could offer some inspiration. I had reservations at first, too. And this thing didn't start out so great, either.

One little nitpick on the stats. 4 torpedo launchers isn't that much for a ship that size. An Akira-class has 15 launchers and this thing is drastically larger than an Akira-class. You should do some turret-mounted launchers like DS9 had. Just a thought. Everything looks great. Love the MSD so far.
