Since i really don't feel like taking the time tonight to calculate the final scale of the ship, I leave it to major D or anyone else who wishes to give it a go. I'll do another scale chart soon. |

It won't be long before you'll be restarting the USS Pegasus thread again!!! BTW-I like the Cut out orthos view of the repair hanger bay on the Galactica. I'm curious too on what the biggest Federation starship can fit inside that hanger bay. | |

When I started, I had no plans to even bother with the interior or any okudagrams. It was just an idea I had one day that I wanted get out of my head. Little did I know... ![]() ![]() Here is a finalized scale Chart. Most of the smaller Federation starships fit inside the hanger bay. I think even the Akira-class would fit, but I have to check in the top view to make sure. As it stands, the Galactica's total length comes to 1,680 meters, or 1.68 kilometers. Its a happy medium between the previous sizes. I'll begin working on the MSD today, and hopefully it will be finished in the next week or two. I'm going to be working full time between now and the new year, so I probably won't have much time to work on this again after this week, so I'll try to get as much done on the other side projects that I can. The Viper is probably the most neglected, so maybe I'll have a go at that in the next few days as well. As a side note, I've had to clear out some of the old updates to make room for new ones. For anyone new to the project, I will post a summary of the entire project soon. |
