As far as the Galactica goes, I want to add more hull details, greebles, etc. I think the main docking hull in particular is a bit simple. I'm still coming up with ideas, so that is still a ways off.

When I'm done with the Raptor, I want to focus seriously on the Viper. I may do yet another complete redesign, though I like some of the lines on the current design. Right now I'm thinking about a blend of Viper, Delta Flyer, and Fed Scout Ship. We'll see. More to come.

Well, the majority of shuttles have the ramp in the back (differences: The TOS-Galileo and the Runabouts), so I think it would be better to have one ramp on the aft.

BUT!

If you go for a Raptor in the means of a troop transport: Two access ramps on both sides. Because this way the marines (or whatever troop they will be carrying) can jump out on both sides and secure the landing area far faster.

Talking about a Viper-Flyer (or Colonial Delta or whatever kitbashed name ye have in mind. :P)

I think there should be two different variants of the Raptor Class Shuttle. The Shuttle should have one entry door either on the Port or Starboard side of the shuttle hull and should be dedicated to Transport and Scientific duties. Then the other shuttle should be dedicated as a Federation Marine Tranport. This shuttle should only have one entry door on the Port side for the Raptor Pilots and then have a rear access door for the rear bay to hull Troops or Equipment.

As for the Viper Class Federation Starfighter I'm looking forward to seeing that Fighter completed, I just wish you were working on it right now. I hope you use some ideas that I gave you with completing the Design of the Viper.

I kinda had a similiar idea to the Epsilon Class shuttle when I sketched out a Viper design for Jonny (I sketched out some other Viper Designs to give Jonny some other ideas for his Viper Fighter).

I have to give the guy credit for Designing the Epsilon shuttle. Its one sleek looking shuttle, but it was a waste to use it as a shuttle it should be dedicated as a Multi-role Fleet Interceptor. Besides the design similiarities to the Delta Flyer, I've noticed there is design similiarities to Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor-Jedi Starfighter.

Side note-This Artist has other nice Federation Starship designs, but I'm not big about his idea of what the U.S.S. Enterprise might look like after the Enterprise-E is decomissioned. He designed his own idea of what the Enterprise might look like starting with the F-model to the J-model. He Illustrates the transition of Starship design from the Enterprise-F to the Enterprise-J. As far as I'm concerned the Enterprise-J that was seen on ST-Enterprise does not exist and to me should not be what the Enterprise should look like in that time line of when the Enterprise-J exists.

Well, we could argue if the Delta Flyer is based on the Aethersprite or vice versa but I guess that wouldn't lead us anywere..

Actually I don't see much similarities tho, but whatever.

Well, there are persons that consider the Ent-J canon. I don't care, it's a weird design, no question, but I think it's far better than many kitbashes one can find in the (non-Tholian) web.
He made a nice lineage nonetheless..

That viper-flyer design at deviantart is sweet looking! I'd highly consider a similar design for use as a small one-man fighter, but without warp capabilty much like Vipers. I say that because a warp core would have to be very very small in order to to be used. The Delta Flyer's is only about the size of a luggage trunk (in reference to the VOY episode in which Tom and Belana entered a race witht he flyer and had to eject the core due to foul play and we see the core.. the weee little thing... it was cute).

I don't agree with the Viper Class Federation Starfighter not having a Warp capability. Without Warp Drive you limit the mission and capability of the Viper to be a Fleet Defense fighter or a Planetry/Starbase Defense Fighter.

Besides most Starships and Small Support Craft in the Post TNG era are being designed with Multi-role missions instead of dedicated missions that were designed into starships prior to the First Borg Invasion.

I'm not saying that the Epsilon Class shuttle was based totally on the Jedi Starfighter. I was just trying to say the blend of the Delta Flyer and the Jedi Starfighter made it into a totally Brand new Starship that has little similarities to the Delta Flyer and the Jedi Starfighter.

As for the Artist Illustration of the Enterprise-F through Enterprise-J. Don't get me wrong, I too think that he did a excellent job of showing the evolution of the Enterprise-F to the "J". I also think there wierd designs as well, I guess for me the Enterprise-J along with the time line it belongs to don't exist even though it was mentioned and briefly shown on ST-Enterprise. Thats just my belief if you know what I mean.

I've definitely decided that the Viper will not have warp capability. While it pretty much challenges Trek canon in terms of warp-capable auxiliary spacecraft, I really want to mirror BSG on this one. Besides, how cool would it be for Admiral Adama to have been able to do an in-atmosphere warp jump over Bajor during the Cardassian occupation just to launch its fighters close to the enemy?

I'm Cool with that! What ever you decide to do, I'll be behind you. I'm assuming this Viper is going to be based on the BSG Viper MK.VII and not the MK.II.
Since the Viper Class is going to be mainly a Fleet Defense Fighter, may be you can have a Special Operations variant that is a Multi-role Warp Capable which should be limited to 20 Specialized Variants (Just something to think about).
