Has anyone tried tackling renders of the Galactica's Bridge & other critical areas? Or would the Galactica simply have a modified Sovereign or Galaxy-Class bridge layout & (sickbay, engineering, ten forward,) layouts similar to past screencaps we've seen?

| SFM Obsessed | the bridge was starting to be drawn but I never saw it finished. I remember it had Superman next to the viewscreen. |

Hey guys! Its good to be back in the swing of things. I greatly appreciate your condolences, and your great patience. I'm a little bogged down this weekend, but the school semester is over for me on Monday, and then I have two free weeks, which I will be using to work on various projects, this one included. What do you guys think of the hull plating look? Its nowhere near finished, but you can get a general idea of the look I want. I was kind of aiming for a mix between the aztec patterns in Trek and the outer hull plating on the Galactica. It'll take some time, but I hope to get it looking right. The bridge has been put on the back burner because I want to make a few slight changes, but It will be pretty much the same as the last version I posted (except a little more complete and sans the Kryptonian )nitram_us71, I hadn't actually planned on a starboard view of the ship since it would look like the port side anyway. The ship is heavy on symmetry, mainly because Starfleet vessels are so, and practically because I'm doing this in Photoshop and its much easier for me to do half of the ship and then mirror it to get the full "bucket" and then work out little details later. But, just because you asked, here it is anyway!

Glad to see you back on this project and nice work on the hull plating on the flight pods. I hope you don't mind I have been messing with the current design of the federation Viper Fighter on paper to see if I can make the current design better.

Finally, an Update! Sorry for the delay, everyone. Things are only now beginning to slow down for me, so hopefully I can get some finishing work done on the Galactica. I've made some more changes to the proportions of the ship to fill out the profile even more. The main hull is deeper, and the forward hull is a little deeper as well. I've completely removed the Bridge/Observation module from the top of the ship to add to the armored, "Battlestar" look. I guess that would make this the first Starfleet vessel in histroy to not have the bridge/command center on the top of the ship. More hull detailing is being done as well. I added more windows to the ship and I'm refining the style of the hull plating on the flight pods before I continue that as well. I'll be working on new spec sheets as well, since the old ones are pretty outdated. More to come.
