F/A 66 Demon -- Updated 05/12/08

Some time ago, i drew a fighter in paint... really for no reason, just cause i was bored. It was modeled after an old micro machine toy, the ZX-300 Sky Shark. here's a pic of my attempt at it.

it has since, with the help of many friends, and a few members on the Starship Modeler boards, become this: the F/A-66 Demon.

I'm looking for some input on it. things to change, tweak, suggestions, comments, i just need some feedback before i leave it alone and move on to drawing other ships from the same universe [the one in my head].

i've also done a couple paint schemes in my boredom/spare time:

i plan on rendering it in 3d eventually... the challenge is learning a 3d program... anny suggestions for one that's cheap, and i don't have to to go college to learn it?

Finished the front view... i hate to have to do it in paint... but i think it looks ok... a few notes: the nose section of the fuselage is goose-necked like a SU-27, which is why it looks odd, side view progressing slowly...

not enitrely sure if i want the nose section to be sukhoi inspired, or F-18E/F inspired... maybe i'll try the F-18 style and see how it looks...
