| Sabre Program Director | Wacom Nebula WIP Right, so, I just got one of the lower-end Wacom tablets (one of the Bamboo kind, to be exact) -- and I've been toying with it today. So I decided to do a nebula spacescape. Everyone's probably seen my previous attempts at nebulae, and in my opinion -- this is my best one so far! Here's today's work. Comments, please? Cheers, Nick |

| SFM Oracle | looks pretty good! Did you go off this tutorial? I have a bamboo as well, its kind of odd to use it at first but its nice when you get used to it. i just wish it was bluetooth so i could hold it like a regular drawing pad. |

) I've enhanced the starfield and nebula some more with a few more "starburst-type" stars, and one major light source within the nebula itself. Afterwards, I think I'll try my hand at putting maybe a ship or something in there.... we'll see how far that goes, though.I'm *hopefully* on track to making some headerable work here, as my previous works have been... well, I'll say less than standard. Now that I've got my Wacom tablet, though, I should be able to make more and more striking pics. Again, thanks for the comments, everyone, I really appreciate them -- Cheers, Nick | ||

| Sabre Program Director | Here's tonight's update -- added a test planet within the nebula and tried a new method for starbursts. I think I'll work some more on the objects in the nebula, and then the main source. I'm also thinking about what to do about the foreground planet. Anyone know any good tutorials for hi-res planets and/or rings? Also, I'm thinking about making a debris field of remnants of a destroyed spaceship, and a man in a spacesuit that's left floating free in the aftermath. Any pointers in areas that might help me out on these bits would be appreciated. As far as current progress, any comments would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Nick |

| Sabre Program Director | Thanks alot, Quiarcus! Here's some updates!!! [EDIT] - I seem to be having problems losing quality either as I upload, or as I compress to JPEG format. Any pointers? Cheers, Nick |
