I'm partial to conning towers as I have always thought of space ships as subs in space
But I would make the conning tower longer (not taller). Take a look at the Kursk or a Typhoon class sub. I use a conning tower as the bridge on my Iron Sun Carrier. Kind of started to make it look like a Gothic cathedral
