I have absolutely no problems with you wanting to draw pieces that include furries. If that turns your crank then go for it. I only said that this would be a stronger piece if the character was omitted because the palette used in both the water/ships in the painting and the character are too similar and dilute the visual focus of the composition. That you can't get past some hang-up you've got with that furry in the image isn't my problem. You need to learn how to take a critique of your work without turning into some sort of personal attack.

What the heck is "true clean scifi?!" There is no such thing. You can't expect people to critique just the parts of a painting that you think they should when you present the entire work. If you thought that you were going to take critical flak for content of a work and are too thin skinned to handle it you shouldn't post that particular work.

That an artist cops a bad attitude when no one comments within some arbitrary preset limit of time is one thing. Hell, I've made that mistake before. But then failing to have the humility to apologize for said attitude once commentary or constructive criticism is received because it's not what was expected or preordained tells me, and pretty much everyone else here, everything they need to know about both the artist and their work.

Good luck on your future artistic endeavors. As for me, I'll pass.
