Thanks for comments guys!

Yep, these hex structures are sensor complexes of AIGIS (Advanced Integrated Global Investigation and Surveillance system), which is my original device and had been introduced into Andromeda already

Thanks and I'm glad you like her. As you felt, I intentionally gave slightly many dual cannon batteries to her. (In the background story) Skinfaxi was constructed as a gunstar, but she was refitted as a battlestar by replacing gun pods with flight pods before her deployment. So, pure battlestar variants do not have four dual cannons mounted on the both side of their main bodies.

Anyway - i love it!
P.S. if i was a cylon - first thing i shoot would be DRADIS, cause i has no frontal defences at all. Same for Skinfaxi. |
Unfortunately I do not know Crysis, and I guess she never become invisible (Optical camouflage?)

. But I've thought once that it was not bad idea to give low-level stealth capability to her by covering with carbon hex plates...
Yep, uncovered DRADIS(or other device?) must be one of the weak points of her. I simply guessed that this structure was a kind of design keys of modern battlestar, so it was mounted at a position nearly the same as Valk.

Hey Tanj, did another render with the Andromeda's: here

Wow! Wonderful work as always! Your Andromeda's images always encourage me, thanks gp.
Of course I'm going to release mesh data of Skinfaxi and Sleipnir, if someone want to play with them...

I used geometry cause I am not using a lot of it, but seeing how your BS's seem to be low poly (for the most part) I assume those are geometry? am I right?

Yes, plates are geometry.
