Infinaty there is something I noticed about almost every Battlestar built now, the ENGINES exceed the frame and obstruct the firing lines.
This would be rather stupid ( I REALLY HATE THE PEGASUS FOR IT AND STATING IT) because it would interfere with the fire angles (Lines of fire) of your batteries cannon!
In sort I like your "slant" ( think your original design is better though) on this Battlestar (never really a fan of this design) but in reality (series based reality that is) all a Basestar has to do is come up from it's aft quarter and thats all for the Battlestar!
The Cylons have proven they can "HACK" missiles,when there ready for an a attack so missile batteries wont help with the problem!
I would respectfully suggest reducing the top & Keel side engines to allow for better angles of fire!
And think it might add to over all look of the battlestar!
