I don't do "canon" models as people invariably complain about their accuracy to a millimetre. So when asked to make a lightsaber for a competition on another forum, I decided to do anything but a normal saber
. A quick search for "futuristic swords" for inspiration helped at lot, hopefully I haven't gone too far and it still at least resembles a lightsaber.
Here's progress so far, I'm mostly working on the rendering and the remaining fiddly details.
