I cant remember what inspired my ships nose, I just figured itd be a good idea, since a lot of ships do dramatic kamikaze runs in Sci-fi, so an armour-plated, reinforced nose (which is what its supposed to be and why its a different colour) seemed like a good idea. Especially when you get ambushed by Hive Ships, rescue you Dad's ship from Basestars or are a Klingon and like the phrase "ramming speed" (yay quotes from 3 sci-fi's, proud of self
