| Simple...the tone and pacing of this episode in question just doesn't call for a scene there. It's a stretch to do one in Reyf's quarters at all. It's rather like "Pegasus" from season 7 of TNG. It just didn't seem appropriate, although I did try to find a way :-)
If you've got suggestions I'm happy to entertain it. I thought about maybe lengthening a log entry and doing a walkthrough montage like in "The Cloud," maybe that'll work. |
