I'm thinking of relocating the head back and to the left as suggesting, then maybe shift the back wall of the bridge back a bit, I really like the little area at the back of Whispers akira bridge with the pool table in there, so might try and work it so mission ops is in that back area rather than right behind the command chairs, i dunno, i'll have to play and see if it'll work.
The ready room size varied greatly in the planning but in the end I opted to go for the Galaxy approach and keep it fairly small and use the briefing room for any staff meetings etc.
And the dead space between the conn and viewscreen is there for the sake of the conn officers neck
since he's already below the level of everyone else if he were too close to it he'd have to be looking up to see the viewscreen, which would just hurt after a while
