Sometimes you can.

All that you need is a obj, 3ds or dxf export from max. Lightwave can import all these formats, Iīm sure. The trouble is the mapping, which maybe youīll have to reapply and the flipped pollys, which sometimes youīll have to flip manually.
At my side, I can say all of your lwo meshes resulted in perfect obj or 3ds files, which imports very well in max. Isnīt necessary to flip pollys, just to reapply the textures. Of course that optimization is needed too, itīs cause the translation process, not cause your fault.

Your meshes are really great, a piece of art, I can say.
