Nope, never seen that ... I was -27 years old when the show aired
(checked the time on wikipedia). Now that I've seen the ramp I must tell you that both the nx test ship and the ramp look similar to the XL5 and its "rails" respectively. I like that system but I think that in Enterprise it was a bit too archaic. If humans would develop an impulse and warp drive then I guess they would use them for take-offs and landings but I'm not a specialist for that so I guess I'll leave that topic
