Define abnormal... We are not a mate-for-life species and there are very few species on the planet that are. The male instinct is to mate as often as possible. Our nearest "relative" still has the alpha male who mates with every female in the pack. If you have found a life partner then well done, but you are actually the abnormality as you are going against your instincts. Society wants you to fit in a box and you are happy to do so, which isn't a bad thing, but it's not normal in terms of biological instinct for homosapiens
