| The nebula is the Orion Nebula, visible to the naked eye preferably in winter time, northern hemisphere. It's mainly illuminated by three very massive O-stars, called the Trapezium, but also contains pillars of dust and quite a few young protostars waiting to be hatched. Normally the colors are red-pinkish due to the light emitted from the HII regions bombarded by the UV radiation from the Trapezium.
